Voting seems to have slowed down, but we're still maintaining our lead. Right now we're 22.38% ahead of Derby. I'm guessing voting may pick up again tonight, since all the people who voted after 9 pm last night, me included, have to wait until then to vote today. Keep spreading the word, and let's keep the momentum going!

There are two Music In The Park events in Tracy coming up on 7/19 and 7/26 at 7:00 pm at Lincoln Park - if anyone is planning to attend and wouldn't mind taking a few Bark For Your Park flyers to hand out, please reply. Thanks!

Here's where we stand so far today:

Number of Votes
Mountain House: 419
Derby, VT: 208

Increase in Percentage of Votes per Capita
Mountain House: 4.33%
Derby, VT: 4.5%

We're currently 21.67% ahead of Derby, so we've lost a little bit of our lead. There's still plenty of time to reverse that, so please keep voting!

Be careful how you distribute them.  Someone told me that posting them on mailboxes and street posts can result in the $350 fine that was instituted a few months ago.  I have no idea if this is true or not, just offering a caution.

Thanks Judie! We're just leaving at doorsteps - there are still a lot of people in town not on the forums or Facebook pages that do not know about the contest. Hopefully we can get a flyer to every house so that everyone is at least aware of the contest.

The sign ordinance applies to posting them in the public right-of-way. Street signs, public areas, etc. This rule has been in-place for over 10 years - it isn't new.

Going door-to-door should not be a problem.
