Looks like someone uploaded a picture under Land Verification again.
Fiona, I hope you get a response back from PetSafe confirming they got the letters you sent. What if they don't see your e-mail in time? Is there a phone number you can call to follow up with them?

Hmm, looks like Lubbock, TX, the city with the most votes, has pulled out of the contest due to not getting support from their city council, and possible legal issues. That puts Lynchburg, VA in the #1 spot, and moves us up a spot.

There is no phone number. There is a number for PetSafe, but I've talked to a few people there and it is completely separate from the contest committee. There is still a day and a half- I'm sure they'll confirm. I highly doubt we would be disqualified for a glitch in their website. I'm sure this is one of the reasons there is a few days between the voting cutoff and the finalist announced so they can be sure they have everything, etc.

Fiona, maybe if you don't get confirmation by tomorrow morning, you should send your e-mail with the letters again as added security, just to be sure they get it. E-mail can be flaky sometimes.

Here's a link to a chart, auto-updated every two minutes, showing the top 3 leaders in votes per capita: us, Derby, VT, and Texarkana, AR. It's a close one and we just pulled back ahead to the top spot!
Keep those votes flowing to keep us out in front!

Mountain House ended the first round of the Bark for Your Park contest in 6th place overall with 3827 votes and 1st place in percentage of votes per capita with 39.56%. Derby, VT is right behind us with 37.55 %, and Texarkana, AK ended up with 32.5%. Now we just have to wait until Friday to find out if we're finalists. Go Mountain House!
