We always go to the Tracy High show, but we park outside the school. Bring a cooler, snacks and enjoy the people in the community. It's so much more fun than being packed in a stadium with uncomfortable seats.
It seems every year we end up next to people who don't watch their kids...one kid almost got run over last year, because he ran into the street. He couldn't have been more than 2, and the mom spanked HIM for it.
So, really, that's my only complaint about watching fireworks that way.
The show isn't all that long, but it's still fun to just relax with the family.
